Avocado Smoothie

I love a quick and easy morning smoothie. This one is packed with good fats and protein.

Avocados are great for so many reasons:

1) Brain health- healthy fats help support focus and memory

2) Good digestion- high fiber helps keep you regular and your tummy happy

3) Energy- avocados are nutrient dense and a good source of calories/fuel

4) Vitamins!- they are loaded with C, E and potassium.

Recipe:

  • 1 small avocado

  • 1 plain or vanilla flavored yogurt container (5oz). I use Siggis small individual cups,

  • Honey- use as much as you like but no more than a 1 tbsp

  • Optional protein powder- try to add a clean vanilla protein if you add it in (no more than 1 scoop- I suggest a little less)

  • Almond milk or regular milk— will loosen the smoothie up

  • Ice- depending on if you like a thicker or thinner consistency.

Blend!!

Pour in a glass and enjoy.
